The Lustra Bed extends the signature language of the Lustra Collection — where repetition, material contrast, and craftsmanship converge into a bold yet serene architectural object. A softly arched headboard in black ash veneer is framed by a continuous constellation of hand-set metal spheres, creating a rhythmic dialogue between shadow, reflection, and form.
The solid platform base mirrors this motif, grounding the bed with a strong horizontal presence while maintaining a refined, floating elegance. Rooted in Art Deco ornamentation yet distilled through contemporary minimalism, the Lustra Bed transforms the bedroom into a composed, sculptural retreat.
Designed as both furniture and statement, it is a centerpiece that balances intimacy, strength, and timeless luxury.

ORIGIN
It starts on paper. Before steel. Before wood. Before weight.
Lustra was first drawn as a study in compression — spheres carrying mass. A structure that looks unstable but calculates perfectly.

ASH VENEER
Black stained ash veneer is defined by its strong, open grain and deep textured surface. The dark finish enhances the natural movement of the wood, creating a refined material with depth, contrast, and quiet architectural character.

GOLD-PLATED STEEL
The gold layer is bonded to the steel through controlled electrochemical deposition — metal fused to metal.
The spheres are compressed tightly together. No gaps. Reflection becomes structure.

PROCESS
The ash veneer is carefully selected and hand-finished to reveal its natural grain. Each brass sphere is positioned with precision, creating a controlled rhythm across the frame. The bed structure is built and tested for long-term stability.

Designed by Railis Kotlevs, whose work merges European architectural heritage with Scandinavian restraint.
