The Lustra Sideboard is a sculptural statement from the Lustra Collection, defined by rhythm, reflection, and material depth. This edition is crafted in Wenge veneer, a prized Central African hardwood known for its deep espresso tone and striking linear grain, long favored in luxury furniture and architectural interiors.
A continuous perimeter of hand-polished, gold-plated stainless steel spheres frames the sideboard at both the base and upper edge, creating a luminous contrast against the dark wood surface and emphasizing its architectural geometry.
Behind the refined exterior, the sideboard reveals internal shelving that provides generous storage while maintaining a clean, uninterrupted façade.
Rooted in modernist elegance with subtle Art Deco undertones, the Lustra Sideboard is designed to stand confidently on its own — expressive, composed, and timeless.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Wenge Veneer – An African hardwood veneer defined by pronounced linear grain and fine black streaking. Its tight texture and naturally matte character create a strong, architectural presence with a refined graphic depth.
Stainless Steel Base with Polished Brass Finish– Durable stainless steel construction with a radiant gold-plated surface, sculpted into clustered spheres and a conical foundation.

Lustra was first drawn as a study in compression — spheres carrying mass. A structure that looks unstable but calculates perfectly.

WENGE VENEER
A West African hardwood from the Congo Basin. Dense. Dark. Linear. Used in executive interiors and modernist luxury furniture for decades because it absorbs light instead of reflecting it.

Each veneer sheet is selected and pressed onto a structural core for stability. Hand-finished to preserve depth and tactile warmth.
GOLD-PLATED STEEL
The gold layer is bonded to the steel through controlled electrochemical deposition — metal fused to metal.
The spheres are compressed tightly together. No gaps. Reflection becomes structure.

PROCESS
The Wenge surface is sanded by hand. The spheres are aligned and calibrated.
The base is structurally tested. -
