SERPENT — NERO MARBLE EDITION
ORIGIN
It starts on paper. Before brass. Before marble. Before weight. Serpent was first drawn as a study in movement — a body becoming structure. A form that coils, supports and carries mass while appearing almost alive.

-
Nero Marquina marble
Nero Marquina, quarried in northern Spain, is known for its deep black surface and distinctive white veining, giving each slab a unique graphic character.
SCULPTED SERPENT DETAIL
The sculpted serpent wraps around the marble as both structure and ornament, with individually defined scales and a detailed head giving the base a lifelike, handcrafted presence.

-
WEIGHT IN MOTION
The serpent appears to move around the stone, turning weight into tension and structure into something almost alive.
DESIGNER
Designed by Railis Kotlevs, whose work merges European architectural heritage with Scandinavian restraint.
Classical structure and modern reduction coexist — creating objects that balance historical weight with contemporary precision.
